Small Effort Makes A Big Change

Message From The President

As the President of Loktantrik Club, I want to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve embarked on together to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and dedication. Our mission is simple yet profound: to make a tangible difference especially in the Gorkha and beyond. we have successfully organized projects and several initiatives focused on crisis response, the right to food and clothes, sports, health, education, agriculture, and gender equality, all aimed at empowering individuals and fostering sustainable development. I am deeply proud of what we have achieved together, but much work still needs to be done. Your contributions and involvement are vital as we strive to expand our reach and enhance our impact.

Let us continue to work hand in hand, driven by compassion and the desire to create a better world for all. Together, we can turn our vision into reality and inspire hope in those we serve.

Join Us in Supporting Diwash Khanal’s Fight Against Blood Cancer

Diwash Khanal, a young boy from Bhimsenthapa-3, Gorkha, has been diagnosed with blood cancer. The cost of his chemotherapy and ongoing medical treatment is expected to reach thousands of dollars, far beyond what his family can afford. To help alleviate this burden, Loktantrik Club stepped in, with all our members contributing towards the initial fund. However, it wasn’t enough to cover the full costs.

In response, our club launched a public campaign, appealing to social workers, well-wishers, and the general public to assist during this crucial time. Thanks to the generous support of many, we have managed to raise $15,000 so far. Diwash is now undergoing chemotherapy and making slow but steady progress.

However, the road to recovery is long, and additional funds are still needed to ensure his treatment continues uninterrupted. We kindly ask for your support—every donation, big or small, brings Diwash one step closer to recovery. Your contribution can help save a life.

Among many charity organizations on Google, I chose the Loktantrik Club to support women in underprivileged communities. Their focus on women’s empowerment through education and skill development really resonated with me. It’s been inspiring to see how my donation is helping women gain independence and improve their lives.
